ISAAC MUNGA AKA Dj IKE was born on the 26th of April 1995. His interest in being a Deejay begun at an early age of 15yrs old while using the common virtual dj. He grew up listening to some of Kenya’s pioneer Dj’s , but through unvavoidable circumstances he couldn't pursue the art of deejaying at any deejaying school. Good friends of his didn't let him down but encouraged and supported him.
Dj Ike"s passion to the art of deejaying diddn't end there , he continued using the computer softwares to deejay. Friends would even hire him to dj at their small birthday parties using the computer softwares. Through that , the urge of learning the whole art of deejaying grew but unfortunately he couldn't still find the income or resources to learn. In 2013 , he attended a function where he admired the style and flow of music from the dj who was playing named Dj Kamjo. He was able to get Dj Kamjo's contacts and mailed him on a proposal to teach him the art. Dj Kamjo C.E.O of Discmen Entertainment agreed to his proposal but came to an agreement with Ike and assured him that he would teach him the art only after he clears highschool.
He Cleared school in 2013 November and in 8th March 2014 Dj Kamjo kept his promise. It all started in that simpsons t-shirt where Dj ike started his first lesson on being a professional Dj. Dj Kamjo and his team the likes of Dj Mk1 Pookie and Hype Master Dizzo were able to teach him the art and make him a professional Dj. Dj Kamjo has not only been his teacher but also his mentor,his boss and many more.
Dj Ike was lucky to be in the hands of an experienced Dj as he can know play any genre of music to various audiences,age groups and demographics. His humbled to have done alot of events under his mentor Dj Kamjo.
In a relatively short period of time, Dj Ike has been able to establish himself working for Discmen Entertainment Under the mentorship of Dj Kamjo and slowly gaining Experience in the deejaying Industry.
